2009 Bugatti Veyron

The 2009 Bugatti Veyron was unveiled at the 2008 Pebble Beach “Concours D’Elegance” auto show, and is credited to being the world’s fastest commercially-produced vehicle. Unlike other “super car” type vehicles, like the Lamborghini, the Bugatti Veyron is designed in it’s own way.

The 2009 Bugatti Veyron is equipped with more power than any other vehicles in it’s class, although it is not conventionally equipped with a convertible rooftop. It was concluded by Bugatti that a convertible would not express safety capabilities, so the “Targa” model was designed. The new “Targa” model was designed so Bugatti vehicle owners could have a Bugatti Veyron that was not only safe, but came pre-equipped with a poly-carbonate roof.

Bugatti has taken great measures to increase the safety of the 2009 model Veyrons. More support to the structure of the vehicle has been added throughout the canopy of the car (in case of rollover), other structural adjustments have been made to the vehicle for greater stability during high speeds, and greater safety if an accident were to occur. Changes have also been made to the front windshield of the car, giving it a taller appearance along with Carbon-Fiber beams for structural enhancement. All of these changes have been made in order to keep the vehicle’s occupants as safe as possible during “high-speed” use.

The 2009 Bugatti Veyron is definitely faster than any previous model. With the “Targa” model roof, the Bugatti Veyron is still capable of maintaining the stunning 253 mph top speed that the 2009 Bugatti Veyron is known for, but is still capable of 223.7 mph with the roof down! Speeds like this only show the Bugatti Veyron’s sheer superiority over most other super cars, with excellent performance along with amazing handling and safety.

Those who are interested in purchasing a Bugatti Veyron better come prepared. The 2009 Bugatti Veyron comes with a list price of 1.4 million Euros or 1,898,820 U.S dollars, if you are even capable of finding one. Bugatti only plans to produce around 150 vehicles, whereas 50 have already been reserved by buyers.
